Using the latest biometric technology,
winner of international awards, the new Evolution 3 Bio
terminal is even faster and more precise than its antecessor
and has a high data storage capacity for attendance control.
The new biometric technology, based on fingerprints,
prevents the employees from punching for their colleagues - the
so called "buddy punching" - and
eliminates the usual excuse of the forgotten card.
Its operation is extremely simple,
to make a punch you only need to place your finger on the
sensor. If you're an authorized employee your name will
appear on the terminal screen.
It communicates through TCP/IP over
Ethernet 10Base-T, which allows it to communicate at
long distances and to connect several terminals in the
same network. There is also the possibility to connect
it to RS485 networks or GSM mobile phones.
This terminal shares all the features
of the
Evolution 3
terminal, and is also equipped with an internal RFID (proximity) card
reader.
The clockings can be made only with the
users' fingerprints. As an option, and for increased safety, you can
make the employee insert a PIN on the keyboard or pass a card before
scanning the fingerprint.
The registration of new fingerprints is performed
in the terminal itself in an extremely simple way. If there is more
that one terminal in the same company, the employees only need to
register in one of the terminals.
