Using the latest biometric technology,
Acronym has developed an extremely fast and precise terminal
for data collection in attendance control. This new technology
prevents the company's employees from punching for their colleagues
- the so called "buddy punching" - and eliminates the usual
excuse of the forgotten card.
The Evolution Bio terminal can also be
used for access control, restricting access to unauthorized
personnel to buildings and facilities. Every move within
critical zones can be easily controlled and registered on a
database.
Its operation mode is extremely simples, in
order to make a punch one only needs to place your finger on the
biometric sensor. In case of an authorized employee, his/her name
will appear on the terminal's screen.
It communicates through TCP/IP
overt ethernet 10Base-T, thus being possible to connect it to
already existing PC networks, which makes its installation easy.
In case of power fail, its internal UPS is
automatically activated, assuring a completely autonomous operation
for at least 8 hours.
